Friends had recommended staying in Prattville to escape the hustle and bustle of the Montgomery area hotels off highway 65 or highway 85. We loved this hotel so much that we already have reservations to stay at it again on our next. There was plenty of space for everyone to sit, so we didn't feel crowded or rushed. The staff kept the area clean and well stocked. We sat back and watched the NCAA Mens' Basketball Tournament on our large flat screen TV in the comfort of our room with the best subs we've ever eaten!Īfter a great night's sleep, we enjoyed the complementary breakfast. The man working at the desk was very helpful in finding a place to deliver sandwiches (Marco's Pizza). Our room was so nice that we decided to order out dinner and stay in the room. The hotel is so new you can almost smell the fresh paint.
Before eating breakfast, we were able to take a safe morning run in a quiet, peaceful setting. There is a golf course and a residential community behind the hotel with lots of sidewalks. The area around this hotel has many new places to shop and eat, but it was still very quiet.
The Holiday Inn Express sits a few blocks off of the main street. Prattville is just a few miles north of Montgomery and worth the extra time in the car.
